For starting your clothing brand you only need to follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Develop a concept and a collection. Create a moodpboard, think about shapes, fabrics and details. What is going to be the theme of your collection? Who is it going to be for?
2. Pick the fabrics. It is crucial to pick fabrics at this point, because different fabrics are meant for different shapes. It is way easier to go from fabrics to shapes than the other way round.
3. Develop patterns. At this point you need to know what fabrics you’re planning on using for your collection. Because a leather skirt or a skirt from organza will require different patterns.
